Our office and its location truly reflect today’s new era of working environments – built for creativity, connected to the community and sensitive to the environment.
After more than a decade of downtown office space, Studio V partners Peter and Pooja Vukosavich decided that working “local” was the right move for today’s world and, in 2005 purchased this architectural gem. A gut renovation followed before moving the firm’s offices in January 2007. Since then, the building has won several architectural awards and attracted considerable media attention.
Today, we all walk, bike or have very short local commutes to work. Energy is supplied by three coffee shops only steps outside our door. Need some blue sky for creativity? Step into the meditative peace of the garden and listen to water flowing from the Buddha statue. Need some urban energy? Settle into the conference room and gaze out the big window as the city walks by.
Clients also seem to be energized by our space. When they visit from other cities, we sit in our zen garden to discuss projects and then cap off the evening with a choice of restaurants up and down the street.
It all comes back to an environment that fosters creativity, and a way of working that encourages sustainability.
