New Brand, New Website

DMA relies on its website for product orders, but also much more. Prospective customers and future employees come here to learn about the company. And now DMA had something else to show – their new branding, re-focused messaging, and new logo and tagline. After we completed DMA’s re-branding, our highest priority was to showcase it on a new website, complete with a homepage video highlighting their key strengths: National Distribution. Local Experts. One Solution.
While many looked to Barr-Harris as a counseling resource for grieving children, their text-heavy website was not intuitive and difficult to navigate. Our work began with designing a new logo, choosing a branded color palette that was bright, yet appropriate, and finding photography that would build empathy with the reader. We streamlined the website architecture, and designed a new site so that audiences could access information in 2 to 3 clicks. The custom back end administration system also allows easy updates by the organization’s staff.
Urban Planning With Public Input
Chicago Park District
Chicago is a city of green parks, and Jackson Park is one of its largest. With plans underway for the Obama Presidential Center, it was time to re-visit the overall land use plan for the park, and this website became the key portal for information and public participation.

Mobile rules the Internet today. Allowing this photographer’s visuals to fill up a small screen without sacrificing navigation was job #1. Making it super simple to add content without being a tech geek was job #2. Dropdown menus don’t interfere with full-screen visuals on smartphones, and the path to conversion is short with a 1-click widget on each page that connects directly to the user’s phone.
RESULTS: Thanks to SEO optimization, the client began receiving new requests just days after the launch.
Our graphic interface for this website allowed customers to access their purchasing data and manage budgets. We also named this tool (TrendView), designed the logo and brochure for the launch.
Refreshing a Look
Salon Elan Vital
When this salon moved to a new location, it was a great oppotunity to update the look of their brand. We developed a soothing, new color palette and applied it to their store signage, brochure and business cards. A new, mobile-friendly website completed the brand update.
In developing a new brand for this organization (new name, tagline, brand platform), a new website was needed to increase their reach and bring resources to their constituents. Because this organization is defined by the expertise and resources it shares, our goal was to make these resources available in an intuitive interface. The SEO-optimized website was built in WordPress, allowing the client to easily update and add new documents.
RESULTS: In the first 3 months, traffic increased 3,800%, with 68% coming from new visitors.
This 30-second Facebook video ad targets MBA prospects. We kept costs low by reusing previous photography, buying stock footage, and spending just 2 hours on campus shooting new footage. Our landing page kept prospects engaged with school ranking points, tuition & salary comparisons, and financial aid info.

More Engagement with Video
University of Illinois
Facebook users engage more with video ads than statics ads, so we targeted high school students with a short, 30-second video to give them a flavor of UIC’s undergraduate business college. Many Facebook users view their feed with the volume off, so we made sure that onscreen words communicated key messages.
New Product Launch
Aimed at optometrists in an international product launch, our video for this medical manufacturer positioned their product as a fashion accessory while communicating key B2B marketing messages.
The Winning Pitch
With one camera, no lights and only 2 hours, we filmed the crew prepping the kitchen at Five Guys while deliveries were unloaded. Our script rounded out the story of this successful partnership and helped US Foods win the contract.
